Program Manager - Beachhead Projects

Healthphone is establishing a beachhead location in the Pacific Northwest to enter the US Market. As the Program Manager for Beachhead Projects in North America, you'll be responsible for targeting, scoping and overseeing delivery of a portfolio of early stage, high-profile implementation projects which will serve as exemplars for Healthphone solutions within selected segments of the Health industry. These projects will include multiple stakeholders (Customers, Partners, Healthphone, other third parties) at Executive and functional levels. Initially, you will design the Beachhead Program to include a customer and Partner qualification process, outcomes definition, project selection criteria, budgeting guidelines, project governance, project quality assurance, and creation of a standardized reference pack (case study, proof points, video and related collateral) that can be used to support market expansion within the US and beyond. Later, you will be responsible for overseeing Program strategy and Execution across all active projects in North America, including integration of Beachhead program assets and activity into the overall Marketing strategy of the Company.
The successful hire should have at least 10 years of program management experience overseeing high profile project delivery, at least some of which should be within the Health IT industry. Strong consultative selling, project management and quality assurance skills are desired as well as direct product marketing experience. He/she should be familiar with the US Health marketplace segments served by Healthphone and be able to relate credibly to functional executives as well as IT leaders. Previous industry experience as a manager or practitioner in the Health sector is particularly welcome, as is working knowledge of the core Microsoft technology platform and products (e.g., Office, SQL Server, BizTalk, SharePoint). We seek a highly motivated, mature and innovative individual with proven matrix management skills and a strong delivery orientation. Outstanding oral and written English communications skills are required as are the ability to work effectively with a virtual global team and multiple stakeholders. This role is not just about project management, it's about building a program that creates true marketing asset for the organization. Preference will be given to candidates already based in the Seattle metro area. Territory responsibility will be initially the Pacific Northwest with national US and Canada to follow; travel anticipated up to 30% depending on project mix.
