Become our health software subject matter expert for the US market 

Healthphone is establishing a beachhead location in the Pacific Northwest to enter the US Market. As a member of the initial Market Establishment team in Seattle, you'll become the resident subject matter expert for Healthphone product sets in support of business development activities. In this customer-facing role, you'll be responsible for creating and presenting localized software demonstration presentations and supporting content which illustrate the business benefits of the Healthphone platform. You'll apply your strong working knowledge of the US Health Industry in effectively anticipating and responding to customer functional requirements including those presenting in Request For Proposal (RFP) format, but also through direct questioning and interaction with key stakeholders. Your excellent English presentation and communication skills will be critical to team success in engaging credibly with both business and technical stakeholders. Another key contribution you'll make is facilitating interaction between customers and Engineering staff in Auckland to address topics requiring further drilldown. Attention to detail and strong followup skills are attributes you pride yourself on.

The ideal candidate will have spent at least 5 years in a similar pre-sales support role (Solutions Consultant, Solutions Specialist) for a Healthcare ISV, Services or IT vendor), and at least 10 years overall professional experience. He/she should be well versed in the unique dynamics of the US Healthcare marketplace especially the audience segments served by Healthphone. Familiarity with the Microsoft platform (SQL Server, Biz Talk, SharePoint, .NET, Office) is required as is a basic understanding of SaaS/ASP and networking principles. Prior direct work experience within a Healthcare industry setting (functional or technical) is a major plus! Publication and research experience (white papers, case studies) is also helpful. A B.A. or B.S. degree is required with an M.S. or M.B.A. desirable.

Preference will be given to candidates already resident in the Seattle metro area. Anticipated travel up to 30% primarily within the Northwest region. Sorry, we will not be able to consider applicants without Health industry experience for this role.
